The credibility of our service department is absolutely astounding. Specializing in stock and high-performance Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, we are equipped to make your motorcycle suitable for you. We have top factory-trained technicians on duty during all business hours.

We accommodate any type of problem that may arise with your motorcycle in an efficient, precise, and timely manner. We will always honor all warranty work and favor any recalls

A few helpful tips when calling/emailing:

  • Be sure to have the year and model of your motorcycle
  • Try to call a half hour or so after we open & before we close (sometimes people are waiting at the door when we open)
  • Have your extended service plan number ready. If necessary know your preference on oils (regular or synthetic)
  • If it is a problem to be troubleshooted, write down a few notes about the problem

Remember to bring your keys, fobs, and/or tuner with you. When bringing your bike in for service, be sure to park off to the side of the service door and not in front of it (the same door is used for bikes that are leaving).

Walk inside to speak with a service adviser and then they will bring the bike in for you. We also have a ramp near the same door for unloading/loading with a truck.

Our Technicians

We have 5 factory-trained technicians in our service department. All of whom are PHD certified and continue their education and training by attending the Harley-Davidson® University online and in Milwaukee regularly throughout each year. St. Croix Harley-Davidson® Dynamometer

So... What Is a Dynamometer?

The Dynojet dynamometer features 48" knurled, precision balanced drum. The large drum diameter provides a virtually flat, stable surface for tire contact, eliminating unnecessary slippage and tire deformation. The result is precise, repeatable results every time. With its durable steel construction and high-inertia drum, the Dynojet Dyno can accurately diagnose performance or drive-ability problems in vehicles with anywhere from 20 to 1200 hp at the drive wheel. Dyno runs can be done at speeds up to 200mph, providing safe, reliable road testing right in the shop. The Dynojet Dyno allows us to measure, record, and diagnose performance problems quickly. It ensures flawless tuning and troubleshooting.

Curious as to how much torque and horsepower your bike has? Schedule an appointment for a dyno run.All dyno work must have an appointment and in most cases will require the motorcycle to be dropped off.

Screaming Eagle® Performance Parts

Our shop is also equipped to enhance the performance of your motorcycle. We can replace your exhaust for better flow and sound, upgrade the air cleaner to increase air intake, bore cylinders, port & flow heads; just about anything that will give you the ride you are looking for. Then we will tune it on our dynamometer to ensure that the bike is jetted/calibrated properly for your new set up. EFI (electronic fuel injection) equipped motorcycles require a separate tuning device such as a Screaming Eagle Super Tuner to allow us to remap your ECM. The Super Tuner can be used over and over but once used on a particular motorcycle it will be paired to that bike for life.

St. Croix Harley-Davidson® Maintenance

Harley-Davidson® has created maintenance intervals for all years and models as listed in their respective service manuals. The first one is completed around the first 1000 miles and then at every 5000 interval there after. The 1000 mile maintenance is important to ensure that the motorcycle is breaking in properly. Many people assume that maintenances are little more than fluid changes but nothing could be further from the truth. Below is a list of items that are completed on most intervals at our shop.

  • Drive belt adjustment
  • Lubrication & adjustment of throttle/idle cables ('07-earlier models)
  • Clutch adjustment
  • Inflate tires to their proper pressure
  • Test the battery
  • Primary chain adjustment ('07-earlier models)
  • Check brake fluid levels & condition
  • Inspect the air filter & service if possible

Here Are Some Other Items That Are Serviced at Different Mileage Intervals, Varying Between Years and Models:

  • Replacing front fork oil
  • Disassembling the neck bearings for inspection
  • Tightening spokes (if applicable)
  • Replacing the fuel filter (EFI models)
  • Repacking the wheel bearings ('99-earlier models)

Zero Labor Items

Here are some accessories that we will install for no extra labor charge if done during a complete scheduled maintenance:

  • Washable air filter
  • Timer cover
  • Clutch cover
  • Chrome master cylinder covers
  • Primary inspection cover
  • Seats
  • Air cleaner cover/insert
  • Chrome/LED dipstick

Important note: It is critical that motorcycles are properly maintained to keep in good standing for the factory warranty and the Extended Service Plan, whether it is by a dealership or yourself. We highly recommend purchasing an appropriate service manual before attempting to service your own bike.
